2.3 Writing Sentences 2
You are here: Shapes and Sounds Part 1 > Lesson 3 - m > 2.3 Writing Sentences 2

Writing Sentences with words that use both long and short vowel sounds.

You can listen to the sentence as many times as you need either by rewinding or pausing the video and ask someone else to say the sentence to you.  It can take a long time to build up a memory for spoken words, so please do not be concerned about needing to listen several times.

The punctuation that is needed for each sentence will be discussed as the sentence is demonstrated.
There are also additional sentences for you to read. You could ask someone else to read them to you as an additional dictation exercise.

Resources Suggestion

Please ask your school for the cursive "m" handwriting sheet.
There are also Say and Write Cards for each letter,  These cards provide another method for building speedy responses to the letter shapes that are seen and the speech sounds that are heard.  Please ask your school for the cards and training on how to use them.
