Organisation

Many dyslexic learners have difficulty with organisation. This can cause anxiety. If learners have difficulty organising their ideas for writing, their teachers at school can help. If they have difficulties organising their belongings then parents and carers can help with this at home. Your child may need support to gradually develop their independence. Sharing your own coping strategies with your child can be really helpful.

This 15 minute video from Dyslexia Scotland was originally for lockdown, but many of the ideas are still useful.
