You are here: Shapes and Sounds Part 3 > lesson 28 - z > 3.7 augh Spelling Story
The sentences in this story will include words covered in ‘Spelling *augh Words’. The story adds detail to the ‘laugh’ spelling phrase.
Our sentences build into a story called ‘Have a Laugh’.
Listen to each sentence, or part of a sentence, as many times as you need. Either rewind, or pause the video and ask someone else to say the sentence to you. It can take a long time to build up a memory of spoken words, so please do not be concerned about needing to listen several times. When you have finished each sentence, you can also illustrate your story with pictures that suit you.
The punctuation and the suffixes that are needed for each sentence will be discussed as the sentence is demonstrated.
Remember that you can use texting or typing as a different way of practising your reading and writing. You can also include your own ideas in the story.
