2.2 Writing Sentences 2
You are here: Shapes and Sounds Part 2 > Lesson 17 - d > 2.2 Writing Sentences 2

Writing sentences with words that use the choices and syllable splitting patterns that we have covered so far.

Our sentences build into a story called ‘A Pot Stand Mishap.  Listen to each sentence, or part of a sentence, as many times as you need.  Either rewind, or pause the video and ask someone else to say the sentence to you.  It can take a long time to build up a memory for spoken words, so please do not be concerned about needing to listen several times.

The punctuation that is needed for each sentence will be discussed as the sentence is demonstrated.   We will also be using suffix -ed which follows the same rules for addition as suffix -ing.

You could also ask someone else to read the sentences in the story to you as an additional dictation exercise.  Perhaps you would like to use a keyboard for your extra practice.
