Work along with the video on words that use both long and short vowel sounds.  

This video also introduces a sentence.  You may prefer to ask someone to listen to the sentence and then pause the video. They can then say the sentence to you as many times as you need.  This activity will also help to increase the number of spoken words that you can remember.

Choose the ‘Building Speed’ video that suits you best

This video includes all the speech sound to letter links that are in the first Building Speed activity as well as the long vowel.  Choose the one that you prefer, or do both to give yourself extra practise.

Once you have the first written set of letters from watching the film, you can go over these letter-sound links again and again by asking someone else to say the sounds.
