This activity introduces a hand action and first sound spelling prompt for the word how.  This leads into using the action and another first sound spelling phrase for the word two.  There is then a short story to explore the differences in spelling ‘to’, ‘too’ and ‘two’ which leads into writing short sentences that include those words.
